1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mossvida website at mossvida.ng and your purchase of products from Mossvida. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read them carefully before using our website or making a purchase. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or place an order.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order on mossvida.ng, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Nigerian law
  • The information you have provided is accurate and complete
  • You are purchasing for personal use or as a gift, not for resale without prior written agreement from Mossvida

3. Products

3.1 Product descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images and ingredient information on mossvida.ng are accurate. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions are entirely error-free. If a product you receive differs materially from its description, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

3.2 Product availability
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice. If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.

3.3 Health disclaimer
Mossvida products are natural food supplements and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

If you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition or are taking prescription medication, consult your doctor before using any Mossvida product.

Mossvida accepts no liability for any adverse effects arising from the use of our products where the customer has failed to follow product usage instructions or disregarded applicable health warnings.

3.4 Allergen information
Our products are produced in a facility that handles herbs and plant-based materials. While we take precautions against cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our products are entirely free from traces of other ingredients. Please review ingredient information carefully before purchasing.

4. Pricing

4.1 Prices
All prices displayed on mossvida.ng are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Delivery fees are calculated and displayed at checkout.

4.2 Price changes
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for.

4.3 Errors
In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel an order placed at the incorrect price. We will notify you immediately and offer a refund or the option to reorder at the correct price.

5. Orders

5.1 Placing an order
By completing checkout and submitting payment on mossvida.ng, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation from us via email or WhatsApp.

5.2 Order confirmation
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where:

  • A product is out of stock
  • There is a pricing or product description error
  • We are unable to verify your payment
  • We suspect fraudulent activity

5.3 Order amendments
Once an order has been placed and payment confirmed, amendments cannot be guaranteed. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp if you need to amend your order. We will do our best to accommodate changes before dispatch.

6. Payment

6.1 Accepted payment methods
We accept payment via Paystack, which supports debit and credit cards, bank transfer and USSD. Payment must be made in full before any order is processed or dispatched.

6.2 Payment security
All payments are processed securely through Paystack. Mossvida does not store your card details. Paystack is PCI-DSS compliant.

6.3 Failed payments
If your payment fails, your order will not be processed. Please retry with a different payment method or contact your bank. If you believe a payment has been deducted but your order was not confirmed, contact us at hello@mossvida.ng with your transaction reference.

6.4 Fraud
We reserve the right to cancel any order where we suspect fraudulent payment activity and to report such activity to the relevant authorities.

7. Delivery

Delivery terms, timeframes, zones and conditions are set out in full in our Shipping Policy at mossvida.ng/shipping-policy. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of that Policy.

Key points:

  • All deliveries within Lagos are completed within 24 hours of dispatch
  • Deliveries outside Lagos are via GIG Logistics hub pickup only — home delivery is not available outside Lagos
  • Sea Moss Gel is available within Lagos only and requires a minimum of 3 days preparation
  • Free delivery applies on orders above ₦100,000 within Lagos

8. Returns & Refunds

Our full Refund & Returns Policy is available at mossvida.ng/refund-policy. By placing an order you agree to the terms of that Policy.

Key points:

  • Sea Moss Gel cannot be returned or refunded once preparation has begun
  • Dry and packaged products may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused, unopened and in original packaging
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days

9. Intellectual Property

All content on mossvida.ng — including text, images, logos, product names, packaging designs, graphics and the brand name Mossvida — is the exclusive property of Mossvida Services and is protected under Nigerian and applicable international intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell or use any content from mossvida.ng without prior written permission from Mossvida Services.

Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

10. User Conduct

By using mossvida.ng, you agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
  • Reproduce or redistribute any content from the website without permission
  • Post harmful, offensive or defamatory content in any review or communication
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl or extract data from the website without written permission

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders or restrict access to any user who breaches these conditions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Mossvida Services shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products
  • Loss of revenue, profit, data or goodwill
  • Any health outcome resulting from the use or misuse of our products
  • Delays or failures in delivery caused by third-party courier partners
  • Technical errors, interruptions or unavailability of the website

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud.

12. Website Availability

We make every effort to keep mossvida.ng available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website and accept no liability for any loss or inconvenience caused by website downtime, maintenance or technical errors.

13. Third-Party Links

Mossvida.ng may contain links to third-party websites including our social media profiles, payment processors and logistics partners. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over third-party websites and accept no responsibility for their content, privacy practices or availability.

14. Privacy

Your use of mossvida.ng is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at mossvida.ng/privacy-policy. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that Policy.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In the event of a dispute arising from your use of our website or any purchase, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@mossvida.ng so we can attempt to resolve the matter amicably.

If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

16. Amendments to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on mossvida.ng. Your continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We will notify registered customers of material changes via email where possible.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mossvida Services with respect to your use of mossvida.ng and the purchase of our products.
